Robert R. Schwartz, 71, Celina, died at 1:07 p.m. Aug. 19, 2010, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.

He was born Nov. 21, 1938, in Spencerville, to Chester H. and Addie M. Simpson Schwartz.

On Jan. 18, 1964, he married Carla Sue Wagner, who survives.

Other survivors include two sons, Richard (Jonadel) Schwartz, St. Henry, and Brian (Beverly) Schwartz, Mendon; three brothers, Raymond Schwartz, Wapakoneta, Gerald Schwartz, Debeck, Colo., and Bernard (Mary) Schwartz, Chipley, Fla.; a sister, Linda (Vernon) Bruce, Debeck; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Joe Schwartz, and a grandson.

He was a retired truck driver and served in the Ohio National Guard.

Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Robert Ellis officiating. Burial will follow at Mercer Memory Gardens.
