Periods of light snow can be expected tonight with some scattered snow showers then lingering into Monday morning. Snow totals of around an inch or less will be possible. Increasing winds later tonight and Monday morning will support blowing snow, primarily in rural areas.
Challenging travel conditions will be possible starting tonight and continuing through the day on Monday. Use caution and allow for extra time to reach your destination.

A few hours of light snow are expected late this evening, mainly after 8 pm. While accumulations will be light, some challenging travel conditions may develop given the cold temperatures.

Celina earns top rating; Minster repeats highest rank on state report card

CELINA - Every school district in the local area received a rating of excellent or better on the 2009-2010 report cards issued by the Ohio Department of Education (ODE) today.
Celina and Minster school districts obtained the ultimate rating of excellent with distinction, while Coldwater, Fort Recovery, Marion Local, Parkway, St. Henry, New Bremen and St. Marys received excellent ratings. [More]
Advisory change comes days before boating race would have happened

CELINA - The boating advisory was lifted Thursday on Grand Lake - less than two days before the canceled Governor's Cup Regatta would have begun.
In a bittersweet move, the Ohio EPA late Thursday downgraded the lake's water quality advisory to a "toxin warning," allowing boats to again cruise Ohio's largest inland lake. People still are urged to avoid direct contact with the lake by swimming or waterskiing. [More]

Minster BOE strives to maintain functioning school district
MINSTER - Despite prudent spending and a reduction in staff through retirements, the Minster Local School District needs more money to hold red ink at bay in the years ahead, according to school leaders.
