Alice Feltz
Alice Feltz, 78, Coldwater, died at 4:25 a.m. Nov. 8, 2010, at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.
She was born Oct. 3, 1932, in Chickasaw to Aloys and Cecilia Bruns Eyink. On Nov. 6, 1954, she married Donald 'Red' Feltz, who survives in Coldwater.
Also surviving are eight children, Mary Jane (Gary) Koesters, Coldwater, Shirley Feltz, Van Wert, Dan (Sandi) Feltz, Coldwater, Janice (Bob) Weigel, Coldwater, Steve (Carol) Feltz, Coldwater, Diane (Charles) Eilerman, Coldwater, Kevin Feltz, Washington, D.C., and Keith Feltz, Coldwater; four siblings, Viola (Bill) Homan, St. Rose, Mary Ann (Vince) Gruss, Coldwater, Esther Eyink, Chickasaw, and Ken (Kathy) Eyink, Coldwater; seven brothers and sisters-in-law, Rita Eyink, Coldwater, Mary Eyink, New Bremen, Wilbur Feltz, St. Henry, Virginia (Earl) Schlater, New Weston, Tony (Betty) Feltz, St. Henry, Harold (Kathy) Feltz, Coldwater, and Barb (Ken) Wenning, McCartyville; 17 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Deceased are three brothers, Edgar, Thomas and Ernie Eyink; a brother-in-law, Fuzzy Boeckman; a sister-in-law, Alice Feltz; and a great-granddaughter.
She was a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Coldwater, St. Ann's Rosary Altar Sodality of the church and former president of the American Legion Post 470 Auxiliary. She worked at Briarwood Manor and Community Hospital, both in Coldwater. She also volunteered at Briarwood.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. Barry Stechschulte officiating. Burial is at St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Coldwater.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9-10 a.m. Thursday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
