Nelson Richman
Nelson S. Richman, 94, Celina, died Dec. 21, 2010, at Miller House in Celina.
He was born Feb. 19, 1916, in Dayton, to William Estes and Amber Selby Richman. In 1936, he married Kathleen A. Moots, who is deceased.
Surviving are nieces and nephews, William (Sandra) Richman, Susan (Larry) Ballweg, Bob (Nancy) Miller, Jim (Sue) Miller, Peggy (Jim) DeMange, Ronald (Linda) Wiser, Nancy (Gary) Vavul, Jack (Karen) McCabe, Joe (Carol) Moots and George (Susan) Moots.
Deceased is a son, Nelson Richman; a brother, William E. Richman; and two sisters, Kathryn Walton and Mary Lou Miller.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. He was also a member of the American Legion, Dayton, and a 32nd Degree Mason with the Masonic Temple in Dayton. He and his wife owned and operated automotive repair businesses until their retirement to Montezuma.
Funeral services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at Baker-Hazel and Snider Funeral Home in Dayton, the Rev. Dick Van Tine officiating. Burial is at Shiloh Park Cemetery in Dayton.
Calling is 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
