At 954 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Newport, moving east at 55 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation.
Locations impacted include... Montra, Newbern, New Jerusalem, Lockington, Ridgeway, Woodstock, Botkins, Mount Victory, Millerstown, Kiser Lake State Park, Hardin, Pemberton, Piqua, West Mansfield, East Liberty, St. Paris, Logansville, Belle Center, North Lewisburg, and Lakeview.
This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 77 and 106.

Julia Gabbard
Julia Josephine "Jo" Gabbard, 84, Avon Lake, died at 9:10 a.m. Jan. 25, 2011, at her home.
She was born June 17, 1926, in New Madison to Shirl and Florence Krick McCabe. On June 21, 1944, she married William Ralph Gabbard, who died in February 2000.
Surviving is a son, Brad (Leslie) Gabbard, Dublin; a daughter, Jill (Mark) Carissimi, Bay Village; three sisters, Dorothy O'Brien, Celina, Karron Hoskins, New Madison, and Becky French, Greenville; and a grandson.
Also deceased are two sisters, Emma Thomas and Sharon Michaels; and two brothers, Sam McCabe and Shorty McCabe.
She graduated from New Madison High School in 1944. She was a nurse at the former Otis Hospital in Celina and Celina Manor. She was a former member of the Eastern Stars of Celina 91 and St. Paul's United Methodist Church of Celina.
A memorial will be held at 6 p.m. Friday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, the Rev. Kim Miller officiating. Burial will be at the family's convenience.
Calling is 3-6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
