Scattered snow showers will continue through mid morning. With temperatures well below freezing, light snow accumulations will combine with lingering black ice from overnight, to create some slick spots on area roadways. In addition, brisk westerly winds will gust in the 25 to 35 mph range this morning.
If traveling this morning, allow for some extra time to reach your destination. Be prepared for slick conditions, especially on bridges and overpasses as well as untreated surfaces.

Geese swim in floodwater off the east side of U.S. 127 this morning after Beaver Creek escaped its banks. Excess water from Grand Lake empties into the creek via the West Bank spillway. The water was about six inches from the top of the U.S. 127 bridge.
