Dr. Mark Wangler, who grew up in Fort Recovery, hugs his present wife Esther minutes after an Allen County Common Pleas Court jury convicted him in the Sept. 4, 2006, death of his first wife due to carbon monoxide poisoning. The judge immediately imposed a life sentence without parole for 25 years.
