Hazel Wietholter
Former Osgood resident Hazel M. Wietholter, 88, Celina, died at 11:10 p.m. April 24, 2011, at Celina Manor Nursing Home.
She was born Aug. 26, 1922, in Auglaize County, to Fred and Myrtle Ramga McDermitt. On Oct. 10, 1942, she married Elmer L. Wietholter, who died Aug. 18, 1989.
Surviving are her children, Lois Kinnison, Piqua; Daniel Wietholter, Cassell; Lorma Topp, New Bremen; Bernard "Ben" Wietholter, Osgood, Donna (Jesse) Kaiser, Burkettsville; and Joseph Wietholter, Jacksonville, Fla.; 28 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, Paul Wietholter; two daughters, Barbara Wietholter and Nancy Storer; three brothers, Lester, Don and Kenneth McDermitt; two sisters, Rose Flemming and Eva Nietzelt; a daughter-in-law, Janet Wietholter; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A member of the Kingdom Hall Jehovah's Witnesses in Celina, she was a homemaker and co-owner of the former EW Junkyard in Osgood.
Services are 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Miller-Long & Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys, Lynn Hall officiating.
