At 954 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Newport, moving east at 55 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation.
Locations impacted include... Montra, Newbern, New Jerusalem, Lockington, Ridgeway, Woodstock, Botkins, Mount Victory, Millerstown, Kiser Lake State Park, Hardin, Pemberton, Piqua, West Mansfield, East Liberty, St. Paris, Logansville, Belle Center, North Lewisburg, and Lakeview.
This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 77 and 106.

Andrew Hemmelgarn
Andrew N. Hemmelgarn, 81, St. Henry, died at 10:15 a.m. May 22, 2011, at his home.
He was born Oct. 1, 1929, in Wendelin, to Henry and Amelia Stammen Hemmelgarn. On Aug. 2, 1952, he married Velma Berning, who survives in St. Henry.
Also surviving are nine children, Dave (Cindy) Hemmelgarn, Connie (Merle) Hein, Tim (Cindy) Hemmelgarn, all of Coldwater, Bob (Theresa) Hemmelgarn, North Star, Sharon (Carl) Koesters, Mark (Kathy) Hemmelgarn, Larry (Lynn) Hemmelgarn, all of Maria Stein, Bill (Deb) Hemmelgarn and Brian (Candy) Hemmelgarn, all of St. Henry; three sisters, Marcella Bailey, Brookville, Flora Dippold, Maria Stein, and Agnes Miller, Brookville; a sister-in-law, Mary Ann Hemmelgarn, St. Henry; 30 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Deceased are four brothers, Cyril, Cletus, Urban and Ernest Hemmelgarn; two sisters, Rita Harmuth and Betty Hemmelgarn; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Melvin Bailey, Agnes Hemmelgarn, Clara Hemmelgarn, Martin Harmuth, Cyril Dippold and Ralph Miller; and a grandson and granddaughter.
A member of St. Henry Catholic Church and the St. Henry Knights of Columbus, he was retired from maintenance at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater. He formerly worked at H.A. Dorsten, Inc., Minster.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Henry Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, St. Henry.
