CELINA - Of the nearly 1.3 million signatures acquired in Ohio to get a referendum on the November ballot, 1,817 were collected in Mercer County, almost 11 percent of the local voters registered during the 2010 gubernatorial election.

Officials are urging the public to take measures to protect themselves and their loved ones while celebrating this weekend.
