Summer fun

Traffic on Grand Lake is picking up this summer despite ongoing water advisories. Officials from the state and YSI Incorporated this afternoon are announcing a public-private partnership to help improve the lake's water quality. YSI manufactured four water quality monitoring stations that are gathering data in the center of the lake, which was treated with alum last month. A new website that will allow the public to see the same data state officials are receiving also will be announced. Attending the event at the state park office will be Ohio EPA Director Scott Nally, YSI executive vice president Gayle Rominger and other state officials.
