Phyllis Oda
Phyllis L. Oda, 84, Minster, died at 8 p.m. Sept. 17, 2011, at Wilson Memorial Hospital, Sidney.
She was born July 11, 1927, in Piqua to Bernard and Blanche I. Davis Fronda. On Dec. 7, 1946, she married Harold E. Oda, who survives in Minster.
Also surviving are daughters, Kathy Oda, Diana (Doug) McGlaughlin and Alice Lawrence, all of Minster; sisters, Peggy (James) Schamp, Minster, and Bernadine Green, California; a daughter-in-law, Judy Oda, Hamilton; nine grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, Harold B. Oda; and a brother, George Fronda.
She was retired from Joint Hospital Services, Piqua, and was a worker for Lawler's Flowers.
Private services will be held.
Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster, is handling arrangements.
