* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...The following county, in west central Ohio, Mercer.
* WHEN...Until 500 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1240 AM EDT, radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Celina, Coldwater, Wabash, Mendon, Montezuma, Tama and Neptune.

James "Dick" Elder
James Richard "Dick" Elder, 76, Englewood, died Sept. 24, 2011.
He was born Jan. 18, 1935, in Dayton, to Harold and Helen McPherson Elder. He married Sonya Grammar, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Debra Knapke, Celina; a son, Craig Elder, Centerville; and four grandchildren
Deceased is a son-in-law, Nick Knapke.
He was a veteran of the National Guard and was retired from Verizon.
Services are 6 p.m. Tuesday at Kindred Funeral Home, Englewood, Doug Donohoo officiating.
Calling is 5 p.m. until the time of services Tuesday at the funeral home.
A private burial will be held at Ehrstine Cemetery, Trotwood.
Contributions may be given to Hospice of Dayton.
