Scattered snow showers can be expected this morning along with westerly winds gusting to around 40 mph at times. Temperatures will continue to fall this morning, with readings dropping well below freezing.
Snow accumulations will be a half inch or less. This will result in some slick spots on untreated surfaces as well as bridges and overpasses. Please allow for some extra time to reach your destination this morning. Be prepared for changing road conditions as well as gusty winds.

An arctic cold front will move quickly east across the region through daybreak. This will usher in a much colder airmass with temperatures quickly falling below freezing.
Snow showers can be expected this morning with snow accumulations of a half inch or less possible. This will combine with the falling temperatures to produce slick spots on untreated roadways. In addition, brisk west winds will gust to 25 to 35 mph at times this morning.
The morning commute will be affected by these conditions. Please allow for some extra time to reach your destination. Be prepared for slick spots, especially on bridges an overpasses.

Six Celina-Mendon Road homeowners would have to agree to annexation

CELINA - The city may extend utility lines to six homes on Celina-Mendon Road if the property owners agree to annex into the city.
City council members this week learned the county health department has asked the city to provide sewer services to the homes, located near the intersection of state Route 197, due to a wastewater problem that has persisted for a decade. [More]
Indians knock off St. Henry for first time in 17 meetings

FORT RECOVERY - Two big-play touchdowns in the first quarter put Fort Recovery in the driver's seat and the Indians' defense held tough to post a 25-0 shutout victory over St. Henry is a historic game at Barrenbrugge Park.
The win for the Indians (4-5, 2-5 Midwest Athletic Conference) was the first-ever over their rivals on Ohio 119, as the Redskins won the first 16 meetings. It was also the first MAC shutout pitched by the Indians since 1997 when they beat Minster by a 25-0 margin. [More]
