Mary Cisco
Mary Opal Cisco, 91, Lima, died at 1:28 p.m. Oct. 30, 2011, at Lima Memorial Health System.
She was born May 2, 1920, in Mendon, to Harrison P. and Ruella Lemunyon Servis. On Nov. 9, 1939, she married Owen Blaine "Barney" Cisco, who died June 1, 1990.
Surviving are five children, Connie (Richard) Cassie, Columbus, Linda (Charles) Cassidy, Coral Springs, Fla., Owen "Gary" (Mary Jo) Cisco, Delray Beach, Fla., Mary Jane (James) Bacome, Lima, and Teena (Michael) Buckley, Columbia, S.C.; a sister, Betty Nutt, North Canton; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a sister, Edith Kruger, and a grandson.
A 1938 graduate of Neptune High School, she was head seamstress at Irene's Bridal Shoppe and later supervised the alterations department at Lazarus. She volunteered at Senior Citizens Services and had joined the Lima chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
She was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Lima.
Services are 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. James Couser officiating.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Chiles-Laman Funeral and Cremation Services, Shawnee Chapel, and one hour prior to services Thursday at the church.
Memorials may be made to Senior Citizens Center or the church.
