At 954 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Newport, moving east at 55 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation.
Locations impacted include... Montra, Newbern, New Jerusalem, Lockington, Ridgeway, Woodstock, Botkins, Mount Victory, Millerstown, Kiser Lake State Park, Hardin, Pemberton, Piqua, West Mansfield, East Liberty, St. Paris, Logansville, Belle Center, North Lewisburg, and Lakeview.
This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 77 and 106.

R. Evalyn Anderson
R. Evalyn Anderson, 80, Delaware, died Dec. 22, 2011, at her home.
Her parents were Harold and Elsie Plummer. She was married to Andy Anderson, who survives.
Also surviving are four children, Vicky Cremer, Debbie (Joe) McMillan, Bill (Denise) Anderson and Jim (Lisa) Anderson; a brother-in-law; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandsons.
Deceased are a brother, Jimmy Plummer, and a sister, Carol Cupps.
She was a graduate of Powell High School and attended The Ohio State University School of Nursing. She retired from Delaware Rural Electric in 1993, and in 2000 she retired from Powell United Methodist Church, where she served as church receptionist and in numerous other capacities. She was a member of the church since 1941.
Services are 10 a.m. Wednesday at Rutherford Funeral Home, Powell.
Calling is 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
