Stanley Kleinhenz
Stanley R. Kleinhenz, 83, St. Marys, died at 2:55 p.m. Feb. 20, 2012, at Golden Living Center-Valley, St. Marys.
He was born Feb. 29, 1928, in Maria Stein to Anthony and Anna Lochtefeld Kleinhenz. On March 29, 1952, he married Martha Otting, who survives.
Also surviving are two children, Jerry (Deborah) Kleinhenz, Van Wert, and Debra (Bill) Knox, Cincinnati; five siblings, Mary Heitbrink, Dayton, Harold (Virginia) Kleinhenz, St. Henry, Kate Broering, Maria Stein, Thomas Kleinhenz, Maria Stein, and Andrew (Betty) Kleinhenz, Dayton; a sister-in-law, Lucille Kleinhenz Heric, Maria Stein; four grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
Deceased are three brothers, Joseph Kleinhenz, Paul Kleinhenz and Walter Kleinhenz.
He was a 1946 graduate of St. John's High School, Maria Stein, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired after 44 years as a production employee with Goodyear Tire & Rubber, St. Marys.
He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and the American Legion, all of St. Marys.
A Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. Anthony Cutcher officiating. Burial will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 2-5 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9:15-10:15 a.m. Thursday at Miller-Long & Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys.
