Carol J. Selhorst
Carol J. Selhorst, 84, St. Henry, died at 11:35 p.m. March 17, 2012, at the Gardens at St. Henry.
She was born July 21, 1927, in North Star, to Leo and Zita Grilliot Stammen. On Sept. 10, 1949, she married Bernard Selhorst, who died Nov. 7, 2002.
Surviving are eight children, Ann (Ron) Fleckenstein, Fort Recovery, Marvin (Ann) Selhorst, Wapakoneta, Steve (Jane) Selhorst, North Star, Joe and Irene Selhorst, North Star, Jerry (Amy) Bruggeman, Wellington, Fla., Theresa Selhorst, North Star, Luke (Carla) Selhorst, Kettering, and Chris (Deborah) Selhorst, Waynesville; a daughter-in-law, Christine Selhorst, Lake Worth Fla.; sisters, Joan Groff, Greenville, and Mary Jean Wehrkamp, North Star; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Wilma Stammen, North Star, Hank (Peg) Selhorst, Coldwater, and Bill (Frances) Klenke, Coldwater; 20 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a son Martin Selhorst; brothers and sisters, Robert (Loretta) Stammen, Tom Stammen, Luke Stammen, and Ruth (Albert) Hemmelgarn; a brother-in-law, Ernest Wehrkamp; and a sister-in-law, Val Groff.
She was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church, North Star.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. David Zink officiating. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe Cemetery in Montezuma.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
Memorials may be given to the Gardens at St. Henry activity fund.
