A car was struck by a semi Thursday afternoon at the intersection of state Route 49 and Fox Road, south of Fort Recovery, after the car's driver, Janelle Schwieterman, reportedly failed to yield. Schwieterman, 17, of Fort Recovery, was listed in critical condition as of presstime today. No condition was available for the semi driver, Jason Miller, 40, of DeGraff.
