Scattered snow showers occurring across the area will slowly diminish through the evening. These snow showers will continue to cause brief reductions in visibility. In addition, as temperatures fall, the snow showers could produce a light coating of snow on roadways. This will result in the potential for some slick spots to develop. Motorists should be prepared for changing conditions this evening and exercise extra caution.

A farmer works some ground east of Celina earlier this spring. The Senate is expected to begin debate this week on a five-year farm bill that would end direct payments to farmers and replace them with subsidized insurance programs for when the weather turns bad or prices sour.
