Planning committee member Jane Woods said high temperatures played a factor in attendance at activities through Saturday, but crowds were huge Sunday. The indoor events such as the dinner theater, vintage fashion show and sports displays were well attended, she said. An attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the largest square dance fell short on Friday evening. Just over 580 people were registered as dancing; the record is 800.
