Eighteen local restaurants were being featured, with music provided by two bands. Celina-Mercer County Chamber of Commerce Director Pam Buschur said 5,000 presale tickets for food and beverage samples were sold. A large number of tickets also were sold during the event. "It's a great turnout and a great thing for Celina. It's fun for the whole family," said Sophia Rodriguez, co-manager of Casa Rodriguez, which was getting good reviews for its jambalaya.
