Vivian Gilbert
Vivian A. Gilbert, 69, St. Marys, died at 11:45 p.m. July 18, 2012, at her home.
She was born May 13, 1943, in Mercer County. On June 27, 1970, she married Johnny "Gene" Gilbert, who died Feb. 11, 2000.
Surviving are two sons, Kirt Gilbert, St. Marys, and Brian Gilbert, Cridersville; two stepsons, Michael Gilbert, St. Marys, and John Stanziola, Celina; a stepdaughter, Chris Stanziola, Celina; a sister, Naomi Sollman, St. Marys; and three stepgrandchildren.
Her stepfather and mother, Alton and Ruth Poppe Binkley, are deceased.
She retired from the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. plant in St. Marys. She was a graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School and Frederick's Beauty College, Lima, and a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, St. Marys.
Services are 1:30 p.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Ed Bray officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys.
