Scattered snow showers will become more widespread through this afternoon and then likely linger into this evening before tapering off into tonight.
The snow showers will be capable of causing brief periods of reduced visibilities, especially this afternoon. In addition, brisk conditions will prevail with west winds gusting in the 30 to 40 mph range today.
Light snow accumulations will be possible, mainly on grassy and elevated surfaces. While roads will remain mostly wet during the daytime hours, some slick spots may develop toward sunset and beyond as temperatures drop below freezing.
Please be prepared for the changing weather conditions today and the potential for reduced visibilities when driving.

Donn Paul
Donn A. Paul, 79, formerly of Celina, died Sept. 4, 2012, at Cornerstone Hospice Center, The Villages, Fla.
He was born Oct. 27, 1932, in Cleveland. He married Patty Elliot, who died in 1982. In 1985, he married Edelgard Krebs, who survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Mike (Karen) Paul, Los Angeles, Calif., David (Dorothy) Paul, New York, and Eric (Sally) Paul, Ann Arbor, Mich.; and a granddaughter.
He attended Miami University of Ohio, served in the Air Force during the Korean War and operated his own printing business. He later became a member of the Ohio Club and the Sailboat Club with his wife Edelgard.
Memorials may be made to Cornerstone Hospice & Pallative Care, The Villages, Fla.
