Algar Moeller
Algar S. Moeller, 78, Coldwater, died Sept. 27, 2012, at the Gardens, St. Henry.
He was born Dec. 31, 1933, in New Weston to Daniel and Henrietta Stammen Moeller. On July 21, 1954, he married Velma Grieshop, who survives.
Also surviving are four sons, Larry (Julie) Moeller, Fort Loramie, Bruce (Diane) Moeller, Maria Stein, Allen (Wendy) Moeller, Waynesfield, and Chris (Christine) Moeller, Concord, N.C.; a daughter, Gerri (Denis) Schlater, Coldwater; four brothers, Andrew Moeller, Burkettsville, Jerome (Armella) Moeller, Fort Loramie, Thomas (Mary) Moeller, Fort Loramie, and James (Esther) Moeller, Springfield; three sisters, Mary Lou Eilerman, North Star, Joann (Alfred) Eilerman, North Star, and Susan (Leroy) Unrast, Wilcox, Ariz.; in-laws, Jan (Tom) Obringer, Westerville, Bill (Doris) Grieshop, Yorkshire, and Dick Kraujalis, Las Vegas; 19 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Deceased are in-laws Viola Moeller, Barney Eilerman and Dorothy Kraujalis.
He belonged to Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, the Knights of Columbus and the Fraternal Order of Eagles of both Coldwater and Minster. He retired from Moorman Manufacturing Co. after 33 years as a sales rep and livestock nutritionist.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Richard Walling officiant. Burial will follow at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
Calling is 1-6 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
