Scattered snow showers will continue through mid morning. With temperatures well below freezing, light snow accumulations will combine with lingering black ice from overnight, to create some slick spots on area roadways. In addition, brisk westerly winds will gust in the 25 to 35 mph range this morning.
If traveling this morning, allow for some extra time to reach your destination. Be prepared for slick conditions, especially on bridges and overpasses as well as untreated surfaces.

A company began testing technology that uses aeration and microbes in a channel at Otterbein Retirement Community on Grand Lake on Tuesday. Pete Kennedy, left, of Organic Ponds, Bill Rohr, dredge operator at Grand Lake St. Marys State Park, and Tom Grabow, dredge supervisor, discuss the air stations that will be placed in the bottom of the channel. The white box contains the air compressor that will deliver air to the stations.
