* IMPACTS...The cold wind chills as low as 10 below zero could result in hypothermia if precautions are not taken. Wind chill values can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure.

Periods of light snow can be expected tonight with some scattered snow showers then lingering into Monday morning. Snow totals of around an inch or less will be possible. Increasing winds later tonight and Monday morning will support blowing snow, primarily in rural areas.
Challenging travel conditions will be possible starting tonight and continuing through the day on Monday. Use caution and allow for extra time to reach your destination.

A few hours of light snow are expected late this evening, mainly after 8 pm. While accumulations will be light, some challenging travel conditions may develop given the cold temperatures.
Additional snow may linger through Monday morning with accumulations remaining light. However, increasing winds and very cold temperatures will support blowing snow, primarily in rural areas.

Ruth Byers
Ruth A. Byers, 91, Celina, died at 1:40 p.m. Oct. 17, 2012, at Celina Manor Nursing Home.
She was born April 11, 1921, in Center Township, Mercer County, to Oscar and Opal Fleenor Buck. On June 6, 1949, she married James Marion Byers, who died in 1955.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Larry (Gail) Byers, Celina; a daughter, Linda Neves, Klamath Falls, Ore.; sisters, Alice Baucher, Celina, Janet Sue (Dick) Garwood, Celina; sisters-in-law, Ilene Buck, St. Marys, and Laura Buck, Celina; three grandchildren; and three great-granchildren.
Also deceased are brothers, Ralph Buck and Lisle "Pete" Buck; a sister and brothers-in-law, Helen and Olen Brandon and Lester Baucher; and a sister-in-law, Beulah Buck.
She was a homemaker.
Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Richard Van Dorn officiant. Burial will follow in Swamp College Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to the activities fund at Celina Manor Nursing Home.
