A few hours of light snow are expected late this evening, mainly after 8 pm. While accumulations will be light, some challenging travel conditions may develop given the cold temperatures.
Additional snow may linger through Monday morning with accumulations remaining light. However, increasing winds and very cold temperatures will support blowing snow, primarily in rural areas.
Challenging travel conditions will be possible starting late this evening, continuing through the day on Monday. Use caution and allow for extra time to reach your destination.

Marie Dirksen
Marie Dirksen, 89, formerly of Osgood, died at 8:19 a.m. Oct. 19, 2012, at the Dorothy Love Retirement Community, Sidney.
She was born Jan. 8, 1923, in Yorkshire to Walter and Anna Martino Lorton. On June 26, 1943, she married Joseph J. Dirksen, who died Aug. 23, 1996.
Surviving are four children, Donna (Thomas) Pleiman, Sidney, David (Deb) Dirksen, Bradford, Bernard (DeeDee) Dirksen, Lima, and Anne Hamilton, New Bremen; a brother, Bernard (Doris) Lorton, Hot Springs, Ark.; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are six siblings Felix Lorton, Mary Heistand, Betty Westgerdes, Wilfred Lorton, Arnold Lorton and Luella Kessler.
She formerly worked at the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. plant in St. Marys and was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Osgood, where she formerly served as sacristan, was a member the St. Barbara Ladies Sodality of the Church and the Knights of St. John Auxiliary, Maria Stein.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church, the Rev. David Zink officiating. Burial will follow at St. Martin Cemetery, Osgood.
Calling is 3 to 7 p.m. Monday and 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
