$27.7 million bond issue would pay for new elementary
CELINA - School district residents will vote on a $27.7 million bond issue at the Nov. 6 election, that, if passed, would help fund building a new elementary school.

Four townships in northern Mercer County are asking residents for more money to help pay for fire protection.
Center, Liberty, Dublin and Hopewell township trustees have placed replacement levies, which increase taxes, on the Nov. 6 ballot. Dublin Township also is asking for an additional levy.

CELINA - Two huge personnel decisions by Celina's girls soccer coach Calvin Freeman paved the way for the Bulldogs' 1-0 victory over rival St. Marys on Wednesday night in Division II district semifinal action.
CELINA - The Western Buckeye League championship and a postseason berth are no longer attainable goals for Celina's football team, but Bulldogs' head coach Jared Rolfes is adamant that his team has plenty to play for on Friday night in the regular-season finale.
