Melinda "Mindi" Shinn, 26, Rockford, died Nov. 8, 2012, at her home.

She was born Feb. 4, 1986, in Coldwater. Her father, Michael (Beth) Shinn, survives in Mendon; her mother, Carolyn (Dr. Merrill) Osborn, survives in Willshire.

Also surviving is her son, Braden Etgen, Rockford; a brother, Christopher Shinn, Rockford; and a sister, Jennifer Shinn, Van Wert.

She graduated in 2004 from Parkway High School and was employed at Cooper Foods. She was a member of the Lord's Church, Celina.

Funeral services are 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina. Burial will follow at Swamp College Cemetery.

Calling is 2-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
