Spec. Brad Nerderman, right, holds a folded American flag that flew over Camp Mike Spann in Afghanistan during his deployment earlier in the year. Nerderman also brought back a patriotic employer award for Mercer County Sheriff Jeff Grey. The soldier is the second local corrections officer to serve abroad.
