Dale Albright
Dale E. Albright, 87, Bluffton, died at 8:30 p.m. Dec. 20, 2012, at Mennonite Memorial Home, Bluffton.
He was born March 15, 1925, in Convoy, to Eli and Minnie Upp Albright. On Nov. 5, 1948, he married Doris L. Edds, who died Dec. 29, 2005.
Surviving are his son, Mark (Deb) Albright, Ada; a daughter, Sherrie (Terry) Tucker, Orrville, a brother, Bill (Jan) Albright, Celina, a daughter-in-law, Lesa Albright, Lima; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and three stepgreat-grandchildren.
Also deceased are a son, D. Michael Albright; two brothers, Bob and Harvey Albright; and a sister, Donna Harner.
He retired from Ex-Cello Corp., Bluffton. He co-owned Albright's Antiques with his wife and also had worked at the Lima Ordinance Depot.
He was a member of First Utnited Methodist Church, Bluffton, and graduate of Mendon High School. He served as a ball turret gunner with the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII, and was a member of the American Ex-Prisoners of War, Lima. He also was a 32nd Degree Mason.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church, Bluffton, the Revs. Bryant Miller and Andrew Tucker officiating. Burial with full military rites will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Bluffton.
Calling is 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
Memorials may be given to First United Methodist Church.
