* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Wilma Schockman
Wilma Meyer Schockman, 92, formerly of Minster, passed away at 4:25 p.m. March 13, 2013, at Elmwood in New Bremen, where she had been a resident 21/2 years.
She was born March 14, 1921, in Osgood, to William and Eleonora Bohman Brandewie. On May 27, 1941, she married Norbert J. Meyer, who died Sept. 2, 1977. She married Louis M. Schockman in 1989, and he died Oct. 1, 2001.
She is survived by one son, Thomas J. Meyer, of the Philippines; one daughter-in-law, Diane (Earl) Meyer Winner of Minster; nine grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Omar (Clara) Brandewie of Osgood, and Jack Brandewie of Montezuma; and three sisters-in-law, Edna Meyer Prenger, Audrey Meyer and Audrey Meyer.
Also deceased are one daughter, Bonnie (George) Ruestow; one son, Kenneth; one grandchild, Kendra Ruestow Atherton; one great-grandchild; and 12 in-laws.
She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Minster. She was a homemaker and helped with the family farm. She enjoyed cooking, baking, cross-stitching, dancing, walking, biking and playing cards. She will be remembered most for her strength, her smile and her precious cookies.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Monday at St. Augustine Catholic Church, the Rev. Rick Nieberding officiating.
Calling is 1-5 p.m. Sunday and 9-9:30 a.m. Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster. Burial will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery, Egypt.
Memorials may be given to Minster Community Fund and Wilson Hospice.
