Bulldogs overcome 12 walks for win

CELINA - It's rare that a team can issue a dozen walks and still come away with a mark on the positive side of the ledger.

ST. MARYS - The first bald eagle nest in Auglaize County has been confirmed.
Volunteer eagle spotter Jill Bowers, St. Marys, said she learned of the nest late last week from Auglaize County Wildlife Officer Matt Hoehn. It's in a tree along the St. Marys River near state Route 66A.

COLDWATER - The offensive depth of Celina's softball team was on display when the Bulldogs visited Coldwater on Friday.
All nine positions in the Bulldogs' batting order produced at least one hit and scored at least one run in a 14-0 five-winning win over the Cavaliers.

Celina's boys tennis team opened Western Buckeye League play on Friday and the Bulldogs shut out Kenton for the second straight day with a 5-0 win at the Booster Club Tennis Complex. The teams also met yesterday in the Ohio Tennis Coaches Association team tournament.
