Thomas Henry
Thomas Paul Henry, 55, Versailles, passed away at 3:47 a.m. on July 2, 2013, at his residence.
He was born Aug. 15, 1957, in Greenville, to Paul A. and Julitta Broerman Henry. On June 28, 1980, he married Sharon Gehle Henry, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, René L. Henry (Agnieszka Drobniak) of Bloomington, Ind.; a son, Charles Thomas Henry of Columbus; sisters and brother, Norma (Rich) Nerderman of New Bremen, Jan Russell of Troy, Ruth Henry of Botkins, Cathy (John) Shue of North Star, Sue Henry of Lima, Judy Henry of Versailles, Sharon (Duane) Goubeaux of Greenville and Don (Zita) Henry of Versailles; a mother-in-law, Myrna Gigandet of Versailles; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Julius Hierholzer of North Star, Max (Kris) Gehle of Indian Lake, Sandy (Roger) Grilliot of Versailles, Dennis (Tammie) Gehle of Clayton, N.C. and Mark (Deb) Gehle of Yorkshire; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Betty Hierholzer; father-in-law, Delaine Gehle; and stepfather-in-law, Norman Gigandet.
He worked in management at Midmark Corporation in Versailles for 35 years and retired July 2, 2010. He was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church in Versailles and the Versailles Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Denis Catholic Church, the Rev. Jim Simons celebrant. Burial will follow at Holy Family Cemetery in Frenchtown.
Calling is 3-7 p.m. Friday and 9-10 a.m. Saturday at Bailey-Zechar Funeral Home in Versailles. A prayer service will be conducted at 6:45 p.m. Friday by the Versailles Knights of Columbus.
Memorials may be given to Wilson Memorial Home Health and Hospice or The Ohio State University James Cancer Center.
