Special Weather Statement issued December 31 at 1:41PM EST by NWS Wilmington OH (details ...)
Snowfall of at least an inch is expected across the region, with up to 2 inches possible. There is also the potential for brief intense bursts of snow, especially between 10 PM and 3 AM. Where these brief bursts of snow occur, visibility may drop suddenly, creating additional travel hazards tonight. West winds will become northwest overnight, gusting as high as 30 to even 35 mph. This may cause blowing snow over roadways, even as the snow ends after 3 AM.
CELINA - Hot and dry conditions typically mean more dips of ice-cream as well as dips in the public swimming pool. Less often considered are uncharacteristic dips in the mercury, such as those experienced during recent weeks. [More]
