Waneta Petersimes-Wolfe
Waneta M. Petersimes-Wolfe, 93, St. Marys, died at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 20, 2013, at Auglaize Acres Nursing Home, Wapakoneta.
She was born June 20, 1920, in Bellefontaine to Clarence and Olive (Detrick) Buchenroth.
Survivors include three sons, Richard (Heidi) Petersimes, Wellingford, Conn., Edward "Bud" (Charlotte Puckett) Petersimes, St. Marys, and Cloyd Wolfe, Troy; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a sister, Irene Byrd, Sidney.
Deceased are her first husband, Edward Petersimes; her second husband, Clyde Wolfe; two sons, Chauncey Petersimes and Nelson Petersimes; and two daughters, Marcella Petersimes and Gloria Wolfe.
She was a homemaker and had worked as a nursing assistant at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys for many years. She was a Gold Star Mother, having lost a son during active duty military service for his country during the Vietnam War. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed socializing with her friends.
Funeral rites are 3 p.m. Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home West Chapel, St. Marys, the Rev. Charles Richtmyer officiating. Private family burial will take place at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 1-3 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
