MASSILLON - As Marion Local football coach Tim Goodwin anticipated, Glouster Trimble gave the Flyers a stiff battle in the first half.

MASSILLON - Adam Bertke's mark on the Marion Local football program will be felt for a long time.
He led the Flyers to three straight state titles, the first Marion Local quarterback to achieve that feat.

MASSILLON - Tim Goodwin is still a young man, but his spot as one of the greatest high school football coaches in the state of Ohio was permanently etched in stone as Marion Local captured its seventh state football championship on Saturday night.
