Water line break

City employee Nick Knapke works on a water line break near the intersection of Livingston and Buckeye streets about 11:30 a.m. Thursday in Celina. The break affected about 20 homes from College to Buckeye streets, public works superintendent Joe Wolfe said. Workers replaced a section of pipe and water service was restored at 2:45 p.m. Wolfe said the number of line breaks has been down this year since a blanket of snow insulated the ground during earlier cold spells. However, the situation may change since the snow has melted, he added.
