Scattered snow showers will become more widespread through this afternoon and then likely linger into this evening before tapering off.
The snow showers will be capable of causing brief periods of reduced visibilities, especially this afternoon. In addition, brisk conditions will prevail with west winds gusting in the 30 to 40 mph range today.
Light snow accumulations will be possible, mainly on grassy and elevated surfaces. While roads will remain mostly wet during the daytime hours, some slick spots may develop toward sunset as temperatures begin to drop below freezing.
Please be prepared for the changing weather conditions today and the potential for reduced visibilities when driving.

CELINA - Even in splitting their team, the Celina track team has the depth to dominate.
The Bulldogs' veterans, labeled Celina Green, swept the team titles at the Celina Walt Shreffler Relays on Friday at the Varsity Track.
Celina topped a league rival and a county rival in the standings. The Green boys won with 96 points with St. Marys second at 51 and Coldwater third at 48. Waynesfield-Goshen was fourth with 38 with the younger Celina White team scoring 25 and Parkway 11. [More]

Minster
MINSTER - A police officer terminated from his job in January has filed a appeal seeking reinstatement and backpay.
The village of Minster and all its council members are named in the action filed April 2 in Auglaize County Common Pleas Court. The appeal does not seek monetary damages.
ST. MARYS - A Florida man faces up to 25 years in prison after pleading guilty this week to stabbing to death a local farmer more than 32 years ago.
CELINA - It wasn't the best effort from the Celina baseball team by any means.
The homestanding Bulldogs' pitching, though, was rock solid as usual.
