Fort Recovery sophomore throws five-hitter
FORT RECOVERY - Jackson Hobbs was a dual threat Friday night against Franklin Monroe.
The Fort Recovery sophomore pitched a complete game and finished 3-for-3 at the plate with two RBI in a 10-1 victory over Franklin Monroe.
FORT RECOVERY - Despite having a solid day hitting the ball, Fort Recovery's softball team struggled with errors as a solid Franklin Monroe team improved to 5-1 with a 13-3 win over the Indians on Friday afternoon at the Fort Recovery Middle School. The Indians drop to 0-6 with the loss.
Three local runners will compete in the 2014 Boston Marathon on Monday.
