CELINA - Officials hope to exceed last year's record by dredging more than 302,000 cubic yards of sediment from Grand Lake this summer.
The state has three dredges and will put a new one - Hoedag the Monster on the Lake - into action after it arrives in June, Grand Lake St. Marys State Park Manager Brian Miller told Lake Improvement Association members at their monthly meeting Saturday at the Celina Moose Lodge. [More]

CELINA - Celina senior Alex Seibel came back from being down 1-4 in the second set and 40-love in the final game of the set to win his Second Singles match and clinch an undefeated regular season record in the Western Buckeye League as the NetDogs defeated Shawnee 3-2 on a windy Saturday midday at the Booster Club Tennis Complex. WILLSHIRE - The Van Wert County Sheriff's Office responded to a call Saturday night regarding the death of a 43-year-old local woman.
The body of Debra Nusbaum, 304 Walcott St., was located inside the residence shortly after 6:45 p.m., according to Sheriff Tom Riegenbaugh.
