Allyson Mescher
Allyson M. Mescher, 37, Versailles, passed away at 1:45 p.m. May 20, 2014, in Versailles.
She was born Aug. 23, 1976, in Coldwater, to Carol (Mescher) Francis and Richard Francis, who survive in Versailles.
Also surviving are sisters and brothers-in-law, Julie (Matt) Traver, Findlay, and Carrie (Ken) Schoen, Fort Recovery; a brother and sister-in-law, Jeff (Angie) Francis, Versailles; nieces and nephews, Ethan, Owen, Ava, Ella and Nora Schoen, Anne Traver, and Kelsey, Ross and Collin Francis; grandmother, Sally Mescher, Versailles; her dog, Rocky; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ralph Mescher and Mary Jean and Ernest Wehrkamp.
She was a member of the Eagles and St. Denis Catholic Church, Versailles. She was an avid Michigan fan and also enjoyed watching the Browns and Reds. She enjoyed playing softball and was a member of E & R's team. Most of all, she loved spending time with her nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Denis Catholic Church, Versailles, the Rev. Fr. Jim Simons officiating. Burial will follow in St. Valbert Cemetery, Versailles.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Monday and 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home, Versailles.
The wishes of the family are that memorial contributions be directed to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or Cancer Association of Darke County.
