Albert Kelley
Albert F. Kelley, 98, died June 12, 2014, in Massachusetts.
Kelley, who had been a resident of Briarwood Village in Coldwater prior to returning to Plymouth, Mass., was born Jan. 23, 1916, in Boston, Mass., to Martin and Rose Kelley. In December 1940, he married Agnes Athy, who preceded him in death. He married Jane R. Moeder on Aug. 5, 2011.
Surviving are eight children and nine stepchildren. The stepchildren are Mindy (Steve) Bubp, New Port Richey, Fla., Joe (Gina) Moeder, Belgium, John (Kathy) Moeder, Mary (Joe) Hoyng and Vicki (Rick) Hoyng, all of Coldwater, Jerry (Julie) Moeder, Celina, Jim (Benay) Moeder, Orlando, Fla., Ellen (Dean) Stelzer, Delaware, and Jay (Mary) Moeder, Bowie, Md. Also surviving are a sister, Rose (James) McInnis, Hingham, Mass.; and numerous grandchildren, stepgrandchildren, great-grandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren.
Two children and eight brothers and sisters are deceased.
He retired as a transit driver for the Metropolitan Boston Transit Authority and was a member of St. Bonaventure Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus, Manomet, Mass. A World War II veteran, he served with the U.S. Navy Seabees in the Pacific Ocean.
Funeral services are pending in the Plymouth area. A memorial Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at Briarwood Village.
