About 75 people gathered at the Lake Shore Park gazebo Friday evening in support of the first "Let's Walk Together" event to bring about awareness of the drug problem in Mercer County. Alicia Bruce, the Mercer County Adult Probation Drug Court Coordinator with Foundations Behavioral Health Services in Celina, speaks to the crowd. Bruce said the entire community "needs to work together to fight the drug issue plaguing our community." Those attending also walked down Main Street to Johnson Street, praying for addicts and family members who are encountering drug problems. Amber Mott said she coordinated the walk because she believes that "through prayer, miracles can happen."
