Local communities plan 2014 Halloween events

Area trick or treat and Halloween party times are as follows:

Celina
• 2-4 p.m. Oct. 26: parade line-up at the South Main Street municipal parking lot; 2:15 p.m., pre-judging will begin; 4-6 p.m., trick or treat.

Chickasaw
• 1-1:30 p.m. Oct. 26: Halloween party at the VFW shelter house; 1:30-3 p.m., trick or treat.

Coldwater
• 1:30 p.m. Oct. 26: parade from Coldwater United Methodist Church to Buckeye Clipper barber shop; 2-4 p.m., trick or treat.

Fort Recovery
• 3 p.m. Oct. 26: parade from the high school to Van Trees Park; 3:30 p.m., costume judging at the park; 4-6 p.m., trick or treat.

Marion Local area (parties for community only)
Cassella, Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church
• 6:30-8:30 p.m. Oct. 28: Halloween party at Catholic Life Financial Hall.
Maria Stein, St. John the Baptist Catholic Church
• 1 p.m. Oct. 26: parade from church rectory parking lot to Marion Township shelter house, Halloween party following the parade; trick or treat following the party until 3 p.m.
St. Sebastian Catholic Church
• 12:30-2 p.m. Oct. 25: Halloween party in the church basement.

Mendon
• 4:30-6:30 p.m. Oct. 25: trick or treat; 7 p.m., costume judging at the firehouse.

Minster
• 6:30-8 p.m. Oct. 30: trick or treat.

New Bremen
• 6-7:30 p.m. Oct. 30: trick or treat.

Rockford
• 6-7:30 p.m. Oct. 25: trick or treat; 8 p.m. costume judging at the firehouse.

St. Henry
• 1:30 p.m. Oct. 26: parade from the intersection of Walnut and Washington streets; 2-4 p.m., trick or treat.

St. Marys
• 6 p.m. Oct 28: parade from Chestnut Street parking lot down Spring Street; 6-8 p.m. Oct 30: trick or treat.
