Wilma Thompson
Wilma Thompson, 83, Celina, died at 1:14 p.m. Nov. 27, 2014, at her residence.
She was born June 20, 1931, in Celina, to Benjamin Franklin and Mary Shindeldecker Worley. On June 28, 1950, she married Olaf Thompson, who died Jan. 6, 2003.
Surviving are five sons, Greg (Nancy) Thompson, Celina, James Clinton Thompson, Kenton, Olaf Thompson, Celina, Larry Thompson, Dayton, and Don Thompson, Celina; a daughter, Linda (Elmer) Steiner, Dayton; four sisters, Evelyn Barnhart, Van Wert, Juanna Carson, Coldwater, Ethel Rollins, Ohio City, and Betty Flohre, Celina; 18 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Also deceased are three sisters, Jeannette Spain, Peggy Boyle and Janice Enyart, and two great-grandchildren.
She was retired and was a member of the Celina VFW and Eagles auxiliaries. She was a lifetime member (50 years) of the Celina Women's Bowling Association and was a longtime pin setter at North Shore Bowling Alley, Celina.
Services are 2 p.m. Wednesday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Bruce Head officiating. Burial will follow at a later date.
