Ruby Henschen
Ruby L. Henschen, 100, formerly of New Knoxville and a longtime resident of Seminole, Fla., died at 6:55 a.m. Dec. 15, 2014, at Wright Nursing Center, Seminole.
She was born Dec. 7, 1914, near Wapakoneta, to Arthur and Anna Zorn Market. On Aug. 24, 1959, she married William B. Henschen, who died Nov. 20, 2003.
Survived are two daughters, Moira Shaw, Seminole, and Dorcas (Jack) Dunstan, Seminole; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Pauline Kauffman, Wapakoneta.
Also deceased are two brothers, Norman Market and Roland Market, and her son, Mark Gesler.
She was a 1932 graduate of Blume High School, Wapakoneta. She retired after 22 years of service at the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, St. Marys. She was a lifelong member of First English Lutheran Church, Wapakoneta.
Services are 11 a.m. Friday at the First English Lutheran Church, Wapakoneta, the Rev. Neil Brady officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Miller Funeral Home, west chapel, St. Marys.
