Norma High
Norma Marie High, 86, Celina, died at 12:33 p.m. Dec. 31, 2014, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
She was born Aug. 5, 1928, in Burkettsville, to August W. and Marie Koesters Post. On Sept. 23, 1952, she married Jack High, who died March 14, 2011.
Surviving are two sons, Christopher (Elisabeth) High, St. Marys, and James (Mary Jo) High, Russia; four daughters, Deborah (Leon) Gearhart, Bryan, Paula (Tom) Casad, Celina, Rebecca (Steve) Jones, Celina, and Jeannie High, West Milton; two brothers, Gerald (Dorothy) Post, Lincoln, Neb., and Don (Carol) Post, Tucson, Ariz.; three sisters, Ruth Reinhard, Tipp City, Wilma (Fred) Quarin, Centerville, and Carol (Ralph) Art, Hicksville; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She retired from Casad Mfg. after 10 years and Gibbons Hospital after 30 years. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Celina, and its Altar Rosary Society.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Celina, the Rev. Kenneth Alt officiating. Burial is at St. Marys Catholic Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 2-5 p.m. Sunday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, and after 9:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
