Ronald Dwenger
Ronald C. Dwenger, 62, Chickasaw, died unexpectedly at his home on Jan. 12, 2015.
He was born Aug. 1, 1952, in Coldwater, to Urban and Lucille Clune Dwenger, who are deceased. On June 15, 1974, in St. Henry, he married Bernice Bruggeman, who survives in Chickasaw.
Also surviving are two sons, Eric Dwenger, Coldwater, and Brad Dwenger, Maria Stein; a daughter, Deanna (Joe) LaPlaca, Indianapolis, Ind.; four siblings, Ben (Karen) Dwenger, Minster, Marilyn (Richard) Larger, Minster, Dan (Barb) Dwenger, Osgood, and Larry (Joyce) Dwenger, Celina; a brother-in-law, Louis Nolte, Botkins; and in-laws, Marvin (Shirley) Bruggeman of Florida, Ron (Linda) Bruggeman, St. Henry, Sharon Voskuhl, Coldwater, Gerri (Fred) Bertke, New Knoxville, Bev (Gary) Clune, St. Henry, and Elmer Grilliot, Yorkshire.
Deceased are a sister, Jeanette Nolte, and in-laws, Lois Grilliot and Charles Voskuhl.
He was a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church, Chickasaw, and the Men's Sodality of the church. He also was a member of the New Bremen American Legion and a past officer of the Chickasaw Fire Department.
He was a 1970 graduate of Marion Local High School and served in the National Guard. He retired from Minster Machine on Aug. 1 and worked part time at Chickasaw Quick Stop.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Friday at Precious Blood Catholic Church, Chickasaw, the Rev. Gene Schnipke officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-10 a.m. Friday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
